Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for overseeing 1st shift maintenance department and working closely with other supervisors
- Coordinate with plant management to coordinate maintenance of all equipment
- Communicate and consult with other departments and shifts, including technical services, laboratories and molding lines to coordinate, plan and complete all required maintenance duties
- Responsible for attaining departmental goals on Safety, Quality and Productivity
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA and other standards and regulations
- Leads departmental meetings
- Provide continuous training and coaching to employees to ensure proper communication of and adherence to all company policies, procedures, rules, work instructions and procedures
- Report Directly to the Maintenance Manager
- Other duties as required
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to efficiently work within a team based environment
- Five plus years of foundry or heavy manufacturing experience is preferred
- Must possess excellent time management skills
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to maintain regular, punctual attendance
- Must be able to communicate with all team members
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform job functions consistent with Buck Company Safety Policy.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical capabilities test
